Is it me, or the AI is a bit too harsh?

I mean I'm not a pro player nor a noob to fighting games but the arcade mode AI is a nightmare, specially Pom and Velvet. I don't know if there's a difficulty option, if there is I don't seem to find it. I don't want to fight a dummy either but more than 90% of the time the enemy always blocks my attacks or anti-air me

It took me around 2 to 3 hours to beat the arcade mode, someone please tell me if they are struggling like this too because the gameplay is great and all but I HATE when the cpu blocks you EVERY time (and I can't go online because I have around 200 ping, not going to play like that with beta veterans)

EDIT: found the ai option, but I still believe that competent that's just above normal is kinda unfair, can't imagine how tough unfair must be

Go to options > game settings > AI difficulty

AI is getting a default difficulty reset and we're working with user feebdack to make it a little more reasonable.

glad to see I'm not alone
btw I played a few online matches even with 170 ping I got some decent gameplay. Loving the pixel lobby (even there I heard some people saying that the ai is impossible)
