I know I just posted, but I can't get enough of the Awesome Mix Vol. 2. This song in particular has a special place in my heart and my childhood. I damn near cried when I heard it in the theater. My dad is always listening to his oldies and this is one of those songs he's always listening to and I remember always hearing it in the car whenever we went places. It really made me smile and tear up a bit. Ahhh, memories.
I didn't know this song was in that movie! Love that song! That opening rhythm gets me everytime. *sigh* good stuff.

Not sure how this got on my playlist, I think it might've been due the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, but I've had this song stuck in my head all day.
I love a bit of ELO! Mr Blue Sky is defs my favourite by them. Telephone Line is another favourite by them. Fun stuff
You know what was the cool thing about this show was? It was a show involving space aliens, that had actual aliens, as opposed to just people with make-up and funky facial features.
All I ask is that you listen to the first 20 seconds of this song (at least).

Since Dota has been on my mind for over 2 months now because of TI7 (Which recently concluded, GO LIQUID), this menu theme from the game has been there along with it

Found this song two days ago, and I really like it, so much that it made me want to learn russian someday, again. If anyone knows anything similar, please let me know.
I think in Stalker they actually spoke Ukrainian. Considering it takes place in Ukraine after all. So the song is not 100% fitting. Exceedingly great video though, great find.

It is my understanding that Russian and Ukrainian are very similar languages, like Spanish and Portuguese, just more difficult to tell apart, but at least it feels more fitting than Misery playing Metallica songs on Skadovsk.
