I don't have a link, but I'm listening to the Undertale fan album DETERMINATION on shuffle.

Total Recall's Main Theme:

Technically I was listening to a track titled "Techzelda" but I cannot find it on Youtube. It's a pretty old track by Internet standards, I had it in high school I think and that was over a decade ago. The Total Recall Theme was the next track up though and on finding it on YT I am now listening to it anyway.

Totally similar, I know. It would be Hearts of Iron, but youtube is at it again.

Though technically, it's the Full Length Version that I'm listening to.

This was a great animation AND music track. I ran across it some months ago, and for a while it was pretty much my favorite track at the time. Listened to it half to death though, so now while it's on my top list, I sometimes skip it.

I once heard someone sing a karaoke version of this at a con. She nailed each and every single part. I didn't even know that was humanly possible.

Not gonna lie, it was once of the coolest experiences I've ever had.

I generally hate japanese anime/movie/whatever songs, but this was one of the few I listened to multiple times. It's simply good, nothing more, nothing less.

I like the bits with the latin mixed in the most, I think. That would be the "Aeria gloris" bit. Maybe one of the reasons you like it more than most anime tracks is because...It's primarily in Russian? Well, Russian and English with that one bit of Latin.

Speaking of Latin, this is one of my fave anime openings (Though this is the extended version) and it's all Latin.

I didn't see the proper opening version on the first page of YT results, and the opening animation itself probably wouldn't be allowed here anyway (nudity, based on existing works of art by Gustav Klimt actually).

I don't think I ever watched through Elfen Lied, but that holy crap, you made me remember that song. I think I can count the number of anime openings I didn't skip on one hand (I don't really like the music), but this and GiS is on that small list. I think it may only consist these two.

Actually, I never finished the anime either. I even got it on blu-ray ages ago, but haven't gotten around to watching it *sighs*.

Still, what are the odds that the two anime openings I mention are among the few you actually like a fair bit? Then again, neither are actually Japanese, so maybe you just really don't like Japanese language music for some reason?

I'm going to list another fave JP track, but an ending this time.

Please ignore the video (unless you like slideshows of KH fanart). It's the ONLY TV size version of Madoromi no Rinne that I could find on YT. Not even a straight rip of the ending video or a static image video.

I doubt you'll be as keen on this as the other stuff Avering, but it's another one of the few opening/ending tracks I like from Anime. Though The Opening isn't too shabby either, I don't like it nearly as much.

Personally, I have nothing against japanese music, only against anime openings (endings have more music I like, though I can't remember any particular ones). That those two are my favourites are rather easy to pinpoint, as both are awesome. Most anime music have a certain....... flair to them that just irks me. Maybe I could describe them as wanting to be too catchy for their own good.

All this talk made me remember a fun song. Yes it's from a 18+ VN. Yes, I like those if they have an actual story that keeps me interested.
It still pops into my head since I heard it. Which was like 2 days after the english patch's release, so almost 3 years ago. The slower variant is good as well.

Watching a subbed playthrough of this game and the parts these songs come up when Holmes and Naruhodou are spinning and moving around while throwing logic at people. It is quite amusing and surprisingly badass. I turn it on occasionally to feel smart. lol

Guys gotta say this is turning out to be a nice music collection thread. Lots of good ones here.
But I must ask how good are you with "orchestral"/composition songs.
Here is my fav:
