Want to get an official group created for all of us Foenicians? Foenatics? Whatever we're calling ourselves?

Once the game is in the steam store, there will be a community hub. And as far as I understand, devs can make official groups.

I wonder if it requires that the game be up on steam before an official group can be created (as in, they can't just attach an existing group they have admin rights to)?

I was wondering that too. I mean, it is technically already on Steam via Greenlight.

Well, official groups have the url "Steam Community :: Error[id]" where as community groups have "Steam Community :: Error[name]." And the [id] is the same one as what is in the steam store, or devs can put a name there.

But creating an official group is up to the devs.
We can always ask them to make one.

I've actually got one of the unofficial groups myself. Stupidly I called it "Them's Fighting Herds" instead of "Them's Fightin' Herds". So even though I created it before the "Them's FIghtin' Herds" group, it has fewer members. That'll teach me not to double check that I got the title right >_>

I think Steam Groups can only be linked to games on the Steam Store, not games that are in Greenlight

There are a couple of unofficial steam groups, but yeah there is no official one yet. Maybe when the game is actually up on Steam they'll make one.
