With the other D&D campaign now in full swing, I decided to make a new campaign, this one using the lawyer friendly equines (LFE) system of Roan. The details are as follows:
-The system is Roan, a diesel punk (WWI-WWII eraish but with magic and robots) setting that utilizes the ubiquity system (Where instead of having a dice roll plus a modifier, one has a pool of dice that numbers as many as one has relevant statistics where one must meet as many successes as the action demands)
-Unlike the D&D group on these forums, there are no plans to rework this system to fit within the setting of Foenum. We will be playing the system in the setting of Roan.
-I don't know how many players I'll allow, but I'm thinking that around 5 is a good number.
- (shamelessly ripped off from said D&D group) We will be using Discord (link for the server) for our platform. Discord is easy to set up for that kind of thing, and I have set up a bot for dice rolling for those who don't want to use/can't use physical dice. Discord can also be run via browser for those of you who don't want to install another program on your computers/whatever you use.
- Real dice are fine too if you have them (no cheating please)
- Spoken English is required to participate, but we promise we won't mind if you don't speak English well.
- Ideally, we will be playing once a week (or twice a week) on whatever day works for our group as a whole and start around a month from now.
-Obviously, swearing and lewdness will be frowned upon.
-As with the other campaign, I won't be running one campaign forever, and hopefully it won't take a year to finish one up.
That's about it as far as I know. Hopefully I will be seeing you join us on our adventures in Roan! Over and out. Ooh, and people who don't want to play can always drop in and listen! If you do, I must ask that you remain (vocally at least) silent while the session is officially happening so that we can remain focused. Before and after (or during breaks) feel free to chat it up.
