Parents are Shadowlite a former adventurer from Phillydelphia that settled down after becoming smitten and wooing Lapis Fontaine a pony of minor nobility status who was born in Canterlot.
Shadowlite is a dark coated pony, and his mane is black with streaks of white in it. His cutie mark is a thick bolt of white lightning. He is a pegasus (bigger and bulkier than his son). He's energetic and tends to go on adventures in spite of settling down (the adventures are generally short term nowadays).
Lapis Fontaine is blue coated pony, her mane is of a paler blue with white streaks. her cutie mark is stone water fountain. She's of average build for a mare and a gentle disposition. [strike]She's currently pregnant with a filly.[/strike] He has a sister, Shadowlite, whom he adores and enjoys flying around Canterlot. She's a filly currently starting Magic School.

I changed the mane a little, to make it more grey and less desaturated blue (kinda prefer the desaturated blue look though). The mouse isn't ideally positioned because that's just the way the pony creator works (it took some doing to get it to display most of the mouse as it was, when it first imported it was only somewhat visible. Wish they didn't change the monocle cord length, it looks better when it's long >_>

As filly, she hasn't experienced much of life yet. She is a unicorn and in general takes after her mother (who is also a unicorn, and has similar coloring). Her older brother is a fairly large pegasus and they get along splendidly (he adores her and flies her around all the time). She's currently in Magic school trying to figure out her talent.
She also has an appreciation for semi-precious stones as her name suggests and along with her mother has amassed a collection of them. She doesn't particularly like sparkly stones, generally preferring the ones that aren't translucent/transparent.
