Maybe the Fine bros will feature it on one of their gaming vids? Though given the reaction that lawyer friendly equine got, even though it was just the intro, it might not be great. :/
Did they do a React to the game? I wanna see this.

I'd be interested in what he thinks of the game as well, but I'm not that frequent of a watcher for his stuff. Does he play fighting games much?
He has a history with the NRS games (Mortal Kombat and Injustice) and also takes an occasional gander at the Capcom fighters, but I don't really see him as much of a fighting game player. I really doubt something like TFH is remotely on his radar, and I somehow doubt he'd even give it a chance if someone pointed it out to him. He's a gruff hardcore type player to the core.

(Plus his fanbase would probably act way worse than anyone else's if they saw him play this)

Yeah, from the few reviews I've seen, I definitely agree with that. Especially how his fanbase would react. He doesn't seem like a bad hardcore gamer, but it wouldn't surprise me if his hardcore gaming audience is as bad as some of the more well known communities like COD and the like.

On another note, even though I don't take their reviews very seriously anymore (especially after their decision to give The Emoji Movie a higher score than the Lawyer Friendly Equines Movie), I'm curious if this game will fall under IGN's radar. And if so, will they make a video review about it or just keep it to a written review. If they review it at all, I expect the latter more than anything.

I too wonder the craziness that may come from an IGN review. If worse comes to worse and they poop on the game (like they seem to like to do to many), we can always take what they say with a grain of slat and shame them from the comfort of our bedrooms in this forum.

You mean "like they seem to do to many that aren't super hyped Triple A titles"

As long as it's from one of the youtube gaming channels that actually looks into the basics of the game before they talk about it, I think it'll be good.

I've often seen people talk about a game and make very, very basic mistakes in it because they really don't know what they're doing. NerdCubed's videos on Factorio show a factory that has very, very little power. His machines can't run at full speed, and he's still trying to build new things for the video. Now, he liked the game, and it was one of the influences in me buying it, but needing enough energy generation to fuel a factory should be obvious. I've also seen the occasional youtuber complain about a game's mechanics or systems being stupid, when it's just because they literally don't know how the game works. People who talk about Warframe not knowing how the modding system works, for example, or not knowing how to build weapons or get new equipment in the game.

Basic mistakes and misapprehensions coming from people who are trying to be information sources can damage a game's reception. I think people like this might be why so many games' tutorials drag the player around by the nose.

Hopefully the established mechanics of fighting games is going to ease that adjustment period.

Darn it, now you've jinxed it!
Now Darksydephil will play this game for sure.

Well here's something nice. LoadingReadyRun reported on the game in their series CheckPoint. The game is even featured prominently in the thumbnail of the video.

Graham pretty much just has a callback to their previous report 5 years ago, reports the game's impending release, gives Paprika a little shoutout, and they move on. The comments seem positive.

Kinda late to this party but I would personally love to see Lythero give this game a try. With him being in love with DBFZ right now I'm not sure what the chance of that happening but It still would be pretty cool. Outside of that I think it would be pretty cool to see Alpharad or FWOB play as well.

Love me some Alpharad and Lythero. Perhaps if people flung some requests their way once TFH is out, they'd do it, with Alpharad being easily the most likely to do so, perhaps with someone else in his crew. Lythero doesn't upload nearly as much as Alpha does and mostly sticks to what he loves, but ya never know.

Yeah that could work. I think Lythero might check it out in his stream but, again, he sticks very much to playing exclusively what he likes and he hadn't really shown as much love to a game since UMvC3 until DBFZ came out so I find it unlikely. However I think it's VERY likely Alpha would play TFH for a video. Also I saw that somebody asked about Maximilian and I do know that he is aware of the game from answers that I got in his chat but I'm not sure If he's interested in playing it.

Need to remember about Lythero, but I know Numakie (one of the top DBFZ guys) has streamed himself playing the beta multiple times and has liked the game a lot.

I've heard people say that he isn't interested in it because of its Lawyer Friendly Equines connection but I've never seen proof of it. Though I suppose any proof of such is probably yeaaaars old and buried in a stream somewhere. But attitudes can change, and perhaps if enough people ask him, or he sees the gameplay via the Super Best Friends (who seemingly intend fully on playing it, or at least Matt will), then maybe he'll give it a go for one stream like he did with Fight of Gods or something.

Ah yes, James Chen and UltraDavid have been pretty high on TFH pretty much ever since Mane6 recovered from the C&D. Extra awesome to hear that Mori and Daisuke apparently love it! That must fill the devs with some heart warms.

Fau Con, at your service.
Looks like Christian BMonkey found the game, and he seems super hype for it!

hmmm, interesting. honestly I find it strange to see people talk about Products, games, ect, like this. it sounds like he only has seen some of Lauren Faust's sketch's and stuff, and he seemingly hasn't done any research on it. not a big deal but, he's "hyped" over something he knows nothing about. like, REALLY hyped.. I will have to research this person to see how easy He gets hyped for things.. either way, its more exposure for the game so that's great!

He gets pretty dang hype over things, particularly if they're things he already enjoys (like Blanka and TMNT in their respective games), but yeah he seems bad at doing research and seemed to be taking a bunch of guesses or generally just being confused. I left him a juicy comment explaining a lot of stuff for him, so that should help!

This... is why we'd probably want to wait until version 1.0 drops before ppl like Max touch it. Nothing we could do, but I'm glad these guys got eyes on the game!

Yep, they didn't wait at all to do a Friday Night Fisticuffs for it. Maybe they'll do more later for 1.0 release or Goat release. Here's hoping!

Also according to another thread, the Rivals of Aether devs apparently played the game on Twitch. That's pretty solid.
