Well, looks like we can start giving this a try on Sunday; S&ASRT seems to have a good number of people to start with, and TF2 is free to download/play, so we could use either (or both) as a start point.

We're generally available after 9PM Eastern (8PM Central/something something pacific), so if you're up to try a thing, please confirm and I'll add you to the playerlist in the OP post.

I am kind of sad in this instance that I am behind a firewall (And also I kinda hate TF2). But this whole ordeal seems like a good idea, simultaneously having fun and socialising with the devs. But be prepared of getting drowned in questions on the first few moments guys.
Also, now that I think about it You could make a list of proposed games to be added if it really kicks off (Starbound for example, or Lux Delux if you are in a hurry)

Also, that GW2 is a good idea. I think the base game is free, without too much limits, so basically anyone can play.

As long as you already have a steam account, all you need to do is install it and join a server. Super easy.

Personally I'm totally down for some TF2 action. I haven't played in a community outside of pubs in ages.

Anukan mentioned a possible starting time in one of his earlier posts:

So the tentative starting time would be around 9 PM Easter Standard Time (EST). Google should be able to provide an easily accessible converter, if you don't know what time that'll be for you. But remember, he said "generally available," and not "We're starting at," for that, and I haven't seen an "official" starting time posted yet. Keep an eye out for more posts made by Anukan, because they might have the time. Or they might not even mention it publicly, since they've already got a list of players set up in a Discord chat. Just have to wait and see, I suppose.

Yep. We're looking to start at 9 EST tonight. That's 8 central and I believe... 6 or so Pacific?, 2 am UK, and I'm not sure for any other time zone.

Reminder that if you guys want to jump in, you'll be needing a discord invite to join the voice chat (and to manage the steam invites, as well)

Dunno! us in M6 at least aren't really planning to. Both SART and TF2 are PoV games that don't really lend themselves well to streaming/recording.

We're also thinking of rotating what game we focus on each time. TF2 took all of last session, maybe we can try S&ASRT next. Or something else. Maybe I should do a poll and we do the most voted for, to ensure maximum people playin'?

Also, I think we should make joining the Discord server a requirement. It's way easier to coordinate people that way, so nobody gets left behind due to steam-only contact. It gets hard to manage people in the midst of it all. Even if you don't want to download the application, discord has a web-based version you can use in your browser.

Definitely down to try again, Thursday. Got Discord up and at the ready for the time. Should I ask for Discord server info preemptively for the event, or are y'all gonna switch?
