Anyone here ever heard of EvilZone? No? Ok... But seriously though, that was one fighter I certainly loved back then and even now I still like it when I came back to it recently. I have no idea how popular it is but hey, you never know!

And I'm also not sure how popular The Rumble Fish is. Kind of a strange fighting game when I think about it, opr at least I found it as such because of its fighting system but I liked that one too! Even if it took me a while on how to play it more or less.

Battle Arena: Toshinden / Toshinden Series. I really like BAT2, and played it a ton growing up. Some of the special motions are absolutely :bark::bark::bark::bark:ing stupid, though. I actually bought it new on PC recently for like $5 from Amazon, but I can't install it because I have no disc drive on my new laptop ;===;
I absolutely loved the Battle Arena Toshinden games! I even had the GameBoy port and it was glorious!

Obscure? Hmm... I own (and love) Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring for the original PlayStation!

Yes, it's the fighting game with the Final Fantasy 7 characters, but the original cast was amazing too. Prince Doza, GODhand (cover - left guy), Yoyo Yoko (chick on the cover), and Han Daehan (similar to Hwoarang from Tekken) were some of my favorites. If you finished and/or got bored of the fighting game, it also had an entire RPG on the disc as well where you played as two archaeologists and uncovered an ancient mystery. If you died as one character, you played as the other. If you got to the point where you died as the first character, you'd collect their "soul" and revive them. Basically, that method alternated until you died as both characters without collecting a soul. Still worth playing to this day if you haven't heard of it.
