Made especially amusing if actual voice acting is to be included in game.
I love that idea. Going through the entire game listening to the voice actors try to imitate four-legged creatures? Yes, please.

This is a suggestion that was made on TFH's Greenlight page, and I am reposting it. Someone made the suggestion that the number of spectators watching should be indicated by the number of individuals in the background of the stage. Lots of spectators means a full crowd, none at all and you're fighting on an empty street.
That would be cool. I remember Gaia(anyone remember that?) having something like that.

How about a Gender-Bender mode? Or unlockable Gender-Bender pallets?
I wouldn't count on it. To make a model go from feminine to masculine without actually changing anything but the colors can be difficult, changing the actual models to be more masculine on the other hand is a LOT of work because of how many frames would need to be redone.

Maybe have an unlockable option in which you can find speech bubbles, where the crew will talk about the development. What was that mode called in Portal?
(Obviously the animal noises and senpai takes precedence over this)

But an ungu-latte can dream...

Nah I'm just being silly x3; I know items don't fit a 2D fighter (especially with animation requirements) and it probably will only ever fit Smash-style battles. I just liked imagining that scenario - - - kinda wish they didn't get rid of the paper fan in sm4sh.

I was a real fan of it. Smash and the fan... They were meant to be together, they were an item!

But one thing that always bothered me about your typical 2D fighter was how short the matches could be. If there could be options to set health to 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, etc. to extend/shorten your matches, that would be cool.

I was a real fan of it. Smash and the fan... They were meant to be together, they were an item!

But one thing that always bothered me about your typical 2D fighter was how short the matches could be. If there could be options to set health to 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, etc. to extend/shorten your matches, that would be cool.
Certainly should be an option for fun.

Just keep in mind that balancing the game has to take a specific amount of health (or range of health) into consideration, believe it or not. Especially if other resources like Magic don't change. Extending the health could make certain abilities far more useful than others, I think.

I'm not a fighting game guru though, so I could be wrong. That's just what my instincts are telling me.

I haven't really looked through the other posts but i'll say this while its still fresh in my mind but a story mode where you can make a choice,

Like where you can choose if you can take like a Dark path, a good path or a neutral path
It would be interesting to see the other sides of the characters and what they become based on your choices

It would be cool if one of the characters has a crush on one of the playble predators charater(s) or vice versa and see how that story goes.

I hope there some alternative (good & bad) endings for all the characters. Maybe add the option where you can select some of the paths the characters can go down in stroy mode (BlazBlue Gulity Gear comes to mind).

There a chance one of the playble characters dies in one of the alturnative endings? I could see Oleander using Fred/FHTNG to summon dead hoofed mammals & predators to attackt their opponents (Indivisible Razmi attack with Bom & Kabuto Yakushi forbidden jutsu Impure World Reincarnation attacks from the Naruto Shippuden games & series comes to mind).

Could Fred/FHTNG (Frighting ?) possess other characters (good, bad, dead,alive, physical bodies & spirits) & become a playble character with his own unique powers & move set to that character (if skullgirls Double had her own move sets with new & old supers) ?


Would any clone playable TFH character(s) fight diffrently to the orginal character(s) (Skullgirls Fukua & Robo-Fortune)?

Would be intresting if G.O.A.T Greatest/ Goatest Of All Time or a playable predator character personality/ gameplay/ fighting style was similar to the original Derpy Hooves (Drunken Master).

Depending on the stage your where fighting with or against G.O.A.T on,would she be able to walk on & attack from the ceiling as well as the walls?

I wonder if in the visual lobby the characters will also state any information about what tier backers are on (groups like Curious Foal, Foenum Settler, Predstor Scout, Unicorn Wizard for example)?

Maybe each character should have more than one taunt (talking & movements). There could also be good and bad results when using taunts in a battle. If you do a tunt in the game without getting hit you get some kid of boost or some health back. If you get hit while your taunting your opponant more damage may be taken off your fighter becasue you wasn't focus on your fight or you wont be able to do any supers for a short period of time (a clock could be on the screen when this happens).

The avatar/icons of the characters in the corner of the screen next to their health bar could change when they make a taunt. The character making the taunt could have a smug face if she/he hasn't been hit when doing it.
The character that's being mocked avatar/icon could be getting angry (angry Anime face) if their opponent keeps getting away with the taunts . If the mock character ends up hitting the character taunting them, then their avatar/icon could be of them pulling down their eye lid & sticking out their tongue.

I think there should be diffierent types of victory poses & speeches for characters :
1: When you have a perfect match.
2: When you still have half of your health bar.
3: When your health bar is in the red or when your near death.
4: When you make a come back & win the match with low health
5: When it's a time out victory.

There could be a wait till next time type of pose & speech when it's a time out draw.

Hofully all the characters will have allot of different supers like Skullgirls Fukua & Robo Fortune has.

I could see Paprika ultimate super being similar Gulity Gear XX AC+ May's Instant Kill & Guy Sensei Jutsu in Naruto Clash Of Ninja Revolution 2.

.May's Instant Kill (14:42-15:03)

Guy Sensei Jutsu (3:01-3:09)

The attack would be that Paprkia disappears from the screen, then a bunch of animals including Alpacas (Adobo) & predators come across the screen try to escape from Paprkia bone crushing embraces, they end up stampeding over Paprkia opponent and to add insult to injury Paprkia either stamepeds over you, chasing the other animals, she give you her hug of death (Her bone crushing embraces), she puts on the opponent an "I heart Paprika” sweater then kill you with her love.

Paprkia bone crushing embraces could be different for each playble character in TFH (including Fred as a book &/or as a playable character).

I'd like it if there were a bunch of distinct Predator factions.

One dumb idea that I had was that all of them share a common problem – The Hunger. By their natures, Predators either feast or famine. Their dark magic carries them through the hungry times, but at a cost to the integrity of their minds and bodies, a slow slipping away of sanity and gradual mutations into atavistic forms of long-dead hunter races.

Yeah, the big boss probably should be one of those "I feel the Warp overtaking me, it is a good pain" types, violent, erratic, crazy, and with all the impractical yet "cool" looking teeth and claws Nature invented when looking for new ways for the Predators to spill blood, everything from sabre teeth to a strange, insect-like structure adapted from the mantis shrimp and mutated until it works on land…

Other factions should deal with it in other ways. Maybe the wolves share the Hunger among their pack-mates, so their minds and bodies are not as twisted. They might even have some semblance of civilization. Perhaps the bears are thinking about betraying their faction and seeking peace with the Ungulates; after all, they can live on fresh fish and berries.

I could see Pom doing a grab/ throw attack on an opponent. When one of her puppy bites/ lockJaw on to an opponent, pom then grabs the puppy back by its tail.When the puppy get thrown back to Pom, the puppy swings its head & releases the opponent into the the wall behind them?

Pom could have an attack where the puppies are fighting/playing with each other & causes damage to the opponent at the same time?
Some type of puppypile (dogpile) super attack?
Puppy Powers without the Scrappy Doo.

That sounds like the beginning of a decent RP forum, if you ask me.

It would be cool if there were an in-game chat for spectators to use when watching a match.

I think it would be awesome to have an aesthetic visual perk when dominating your opponent in addition to the dynamic music perk to make you really feel like you are owning the battle. If you begin dominating the music shifts, but if you continue dominating then it would begin to snow for Velvet, confetti would fall for Paprika, a darkness would engulf the background for Oleander etc.

Only so long as it doesn't get in the way of the players' view of the battle.

Doubt they would do this anytime soon but when they decide to expand the roster, how about a new character that's a baby bear? He'd basically be a Spike proxy though I haven't the slightest idea of how he'd play. Just something I wanted to see them do since the beginning :)

If Fred/FHTNG possess G.O.A.T they will become Baphomet [Baphomet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia].



If Fred/FHTNG possess a deer or another animial then this could be one of his/her tranformations. For a short period of time the animal can stand on two hoofs & attack with their hands.


Give them a weapon and you got a 30/30 /Them's Fightin Herds type character.




Could one of G.O.A.T's super be her grabing her opponent and running around the screen (the ground, the walls & ceiling) a couple of times, she speeding up & then eventually dropping the opponent from the ceiling or dropping down from the ceiling with the opponent (Taokaka Astral Finish comes to mind).
This move causes damage and the opponent could also be put in a dazed/stuned ( Stars, birds &/or animals circling around their head) state for a few seconds.

PLOT TWISTS!

There more than one boss in the game (secret boss). There a few things each of the characters have to achieve before you unlock this new extended story mode & boss. There was a KEY KEEPER that eventually turned evil & too powerful, that was killed by the animals in Foenum. This evil Key Keeper spirit was banished to another dimension. The animals of Foenum made sure this evil Key Keeper spirit was not sent to the dimension where the Predators where banished to.

The evil key keeper was able to free it self from its dimensional prison from using the powers of the predators, the devourer, the animal of Foenum, the new key keeper & the enchanted key.
With this new power the evil key keeper resurrected it self with new bodies (Orochimaru, Pain, Nagato) , abilities , magic (white magic & black magic = grey area/grey magic) & transformations (SkullGirls Double fused with Bloody Marie) . The Evil key keeper is a threat to Foenum, the predators and all the other dimensions.
The evil key keeper can take many forms (male, female, non gender characters )(Steven Universe fusion).
You wouldn't know what type of character it will start of as until the announcer shouts "fight/battle/stamped" & the fight begins.
There would be evil key keeper transformations & powers are random in each battle (minimum random transformations would be 7 or 8 depending what other playable characters are added to the roster).
The evil key keeper could transform into living or dead friends, foe, rivals, characters they &/or their community looked up to, characters they read about, character they feared, family members of each of the characters to make each story mode boss fight unique for each playable character

Ooh, now that's an idea worth putting pen to paper.

Something I'd like to see would be the ability to save replays. It could be a nifty learning tool for those that want to go more in-depth.
I was looking for this, perhaps this should be a thread of its own, i really want to know if mane6's team are including the replay features in the game, it would be really helpful

Goat kicks different TFH themed can(s) at you. The cans she kicks at you could come in different sizes as well.
One of her supers would be from out of nowhere a large TFH (different Easter eggs, images,TFH puns, inside jokes on the cans labels) can falling on to the opponent &/or rolling over the opponent (in & out of the screen) with goat inside of the can waving or doing something crazy (Skullgirls Double supers).

If there's falling snow/rain on a level (as there could be on Velvet's stage), Tianhuo's mane should hiss and sizzle and produce puffs of steam.
She could also melt the snow under her hoofs when she moves & then the snow covers up those spots when she moves of them. Her movements will also cause the snow & rain water/ puddles to hiss, sizzle and produce puffs of steam when she walks on them or when she dose a super.
I was thinking this would happen for Tianhuo on Velvet's visual lobby stage (unless she flying most of the time).

Maybe we need some destructible items/ objects on these stages as well. I wonder if Mane6 could implement a way to knock characters out on to another/ new/ extended part of the stage (with different stage music?) & if the stages you fight on could cause damage to both fighters or even throw items that might regain your health, slow you down,( Dead or Alive 5, Naruto/Naruto Shippuden: Clash Of The Ninja Revolution 2, 3, Naruto/ Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 & 3, Power Stone 1 & 2, Mortal Kombat X, Killer Instinct Season 2, Street Fighter V come to mind) Tianhuo (or a predator that can fly) can't fly or spits fire (Spitfire could be a name for one of Tianhuo's attacks or a nick name for Tianhuo) for a short period of time, Arizona can't use her lasso,Velvet can't use her ice attacks,Paprika can't use her cannon or throw or use items. Oleander can't use Fred, she can't shoot dark magical beams at you, Pom can only use two or three puppies to attack, Pom can't bring out big mamma or big daddy Goat cannot climb on the wall & ceiling, Predator(s) can't use magic or do a supper/ ultimate attack for a short period of time ect, ect.

Tianhuo could do some type of air & ground flame attacks that are similar to Akatsuki's Deidara Jutsu · C0 · C1 · C1 · C2 · C3 · C4 · Clay Clone with flames or the animals explode into fire balls when they hit an opponent, when an opponent steps on them & when an opponent lands on them (Skullgirls Robo Fortune Robo heads attacks).
Maybe Tianhuo magic &/or super is her body &/or the fire see spits out turning different colours (DBZ Super Saiyan, Kill La Kill Senketsu Kisaragi) and causing different types of damages (burns, poison,cant use magic, can't do a super for a sort period of time) to the opponent(s).

On these notes, I wouldn't mind if Velvet, not willing to get her hooves wet, could freeze a bit of puddle to form solid ice for her to step on... .o.

Aside from this, I don't have much to contribute >>;; Maybe a "Dogpile" with Pom's puppies mercilessly mauling playfully piling on their foe? Dog stampede too? Mm....

I can also imagine, if we follow Timid Ferovore Hoers's "do normal things really gently" motif, then Pom's 'dance' could be a very gentle side-to-side head pop, complete with a "^◡^"-esque face... Bonus if Pom's dog and any other summoned puppies dance too! (Was this confirmed? Totally forgot >>)

Will Velvet be able to summon her magical elves to help her in battle? Will the elves come on stage and bring golden oats to Velvet to make her stronger, faster, make Velvet fly for a short period of time &/or regain some of her health back. Could there be some type of super for Velvet with the golden oats?
The magical elves can attack Velvet's opponent(s) with grabs (the magical elf with the scarf), magic ( to control the weather. make snow fall on any of the stages which could give Velvet an adventage for a while),an elf throws water on to the oppoenet, The opponent is soaking wet, you call call another elf to freeze the water on the oppoenet to slow them down), snow (the elf throws diffrent sized snowballs at you.) & ice attacks (throw different sized TFH themed ice sculptures). Some of these attacks with the elves could also be supers/ultimate attacks for Velvet.
The elves could be moving/ticking ice bombs (Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch). When an opponent hits an elf, the opponent is traped in a block of ice/freeze for a short period of time (Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero/ Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch ice attack ).

There could be a mini game (single player & teams visual lobby tournaments) n Velvet's visual lobby stage, where you have to try & hit as many elves with snowball &/or ice sculptures in a short period of time.


Some of Velvet's attacks that include her magical elves could be similar to Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch's attacks.


Here's a few ideas on non-backers and backers exclusive palette.

Ideas on non-backers & backers-only alternate palette

A gaint four legged Spider would make an intresting friend &/or Foe (Darlene the Spider from Gravity Falls).

It would also be intresting to see a TFH character (good or bad) that battles similar to Skullgirls Eliza & Sekhmet in the game. (their palette would be Eliza & Darlene the Spider from Gravity Falls)
The animal (TFH character based on Skullgirls Eliza, character & Lawyer Friendly Equines Queen Chrysalis (shapeshifter attacks like skullgirls double), King Sombra, Nightmare Moon & Discord character) can fly which mean it can do air & ground attack. The animal skeleton (based on Skullgirls Sekhmet character & Lawyer Friendly Equines Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, Nightmare Moon & Discord ) could also fly (with magic) & do more damaging air & ground attacks.

Mane6 might want to get ZONE (Zone-Tan) to do some work on TFH as well.

The magical elves can attack Velvet's opponent(s) with grabs (the magical elf with the scarf), magic ( to control the weather. make snow fall on any of the stages which could give Velvet an adventage for a while),an elf throws water on to the oppoenet, The opponent is soaking wet, you call call another elf to freeze the water on the oppoenet to slow them down), snow (the elf throws diffrent sized snowballs at you.) & ice attacks (throw different sized TFH themed ice sculptures). Some of these attacks with the elves could also be supers/ultimate attacks for Velvet.
The elves could be moving/ticking ice bombs (Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch). When an opponent hits an elf, the opponent is traped in a block of ice/freeze for a short period of time (Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero/ Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch ice attack ).

There could be a mini game (single player & teams visual lobby tournaments) n Velvet's visual lobby stage, where you have to try & hit as many elves with snowball &/or ice sculptures in a short period of time.


Some of Velvet's attacks that include her magical elves could be similar to Darkstalkers/Night Warroirs Sasquatch's attacks.

A gaint four legged Spider would make an intresting friend &/or Foe (Darlene the Spider from Gravity Falls).

It would also be intresting to see a TFH character (good or bad) that battles similar to Skullgirls Eliza & Sekhmet in the game. (their palette would be Eliza & Darlene the Spider from Gravity Falls)
The animal (TFH character based on Skullgirls Eliza, character & Lawyer Friendly Equines Queen Chrysalis (shapeshifter attacks like skullgirls double), King Sombra, Nightmare Moon & Discord character) can fly which mean it can do air & ground attack. The animal skeleton (based on Skullgirls Sekhmet character & Lawyer Friendly Equines Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, Nightmare Moon & Discord ) could also fly (with magic) & do more damaging air & ground attacks.

Mane6 might want to get ZONE (Zone-Tan) to do some work on TFH as well.
A style that I always find cool is the... I guess you could call them zone control characters maybe? The characters who center around displacement, knock-back, and, well, maintaining control over their 'zone' wherein they can toss others around like a ragdoll. It's kind of hard to think of an example since there are so few of them, the best example I can think of is Law from One Piece.
