I just discovered that Mane6's Forum software choice, XenForo, supports 2-Factor Authentication through applications and email, complete with backup codes. For a paranoid nerd such as I, that was a pleasant surprise.

Oh yeah, I found that almost immediately and turned it on. I mostly found it because, at the time I couldn't do anything else with my profile really. ^^;

Yrah, found that out while looking around, personally I don't use it, but I can see the benefit in security.
