So, while I'm a backer, I had not yet redeemed my code until a bit earlier today.
(I've only recently acquired a computer that could actually play it instead of freezing up if I so much as think about Steam for more than 2 seconds.)
So I've just downloaded the game (and the tennis shoes) and fiddled with the tutorials when I noticed that my user icon didn't have the backer indicator. I'd assumed it was something attached to the keys or one's email address. What little I could glean from a rough search is that I had to have participated in the beta to get it.
Is this correct?
(I don't actually mind too much, just mildly sad I didn't have the salt mine palettes already unlocked.)
