Dark Souls/ Bloodborne thread

Guess I'll start this thread then. I love the Souls series and Bloodborne but haven't beaten any yet . What about you guys? Do you like the Souls games and/or Bloodborne? Or do you find them too difficult? Hype for Dark Souls III?

IMO Dark Souls 1 had the best PVP, Dark souls 2 had the best atmosphere, hopefully Dark Souls 3 will take everything we love about the two games and make it amazing! At least they're bringing back the full red-eye orb. <3

It's tough to say which my favorite is, especially since I haven't played much of Demon's Souls. It's probably Dark Souls 1, but it could be Demon's if I revisited or played through all of it. Or maybe even Bloodborne if I had a PS4.

Definitely excited for Dark Souls 3, but I'm sort of doing what ENB did with his media blackout, only just in terms of the world and long swathes of gameplay. I've looked at a bunch of weapon arts and all the trailers and I've seen a boss or two.

Same here. I want to try and go into it as blindly as possible. Only have watched a few trailers

I have to say Bloodbourne mainly bacause it's the only game in series that I played through more than once. I haven't looked at many gameplay videos for Dark Souls III. The only thing I know about is the weapon arts and that the magic bar is back from the first game.

I've been meaning to get back to DS1. Haven't played any of the others, but I may get DS3.

I felt both relieved and a little cheated when I got to the Taurus Demon, and he immediately fell over the side of the bridge and died. He had shoved me over first, then jumped down to give chase, and it counted as me killing him. Didn't get any items, but the souls were waiting for me when I came back through.

It did the same thing on my second run-through. I sprinted up and started smacking it, and it just leaped off the bridge out of nowhere.

I've played all of them besides Demons Souls but don't let that make you think I'm good. lol
DS1: I got paranoid right before the Gaping Dragon boss which caused me to never enter the fog gate and stopped playing due to my nerves getting shot every time I try to play farther. I get super anxious playing that game for some reason.
DS2 SOTFS: I got a lot farther in this one since I know a lot more about the game and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm not too far, like 10-15 hours in which put me right outside Iron Keep but at least steady progress is made.
Bloodborne: I'm actually closing in on to the end of this game, stuck on Martyr Logarius though. I've been loving this game a lot more since the game is faster and I feel more willing to commit to attacks than hiding behind a shield.

Bloodborne, but it's a close contest between that and DS1. I've tried to avoid spoilers for DS3 as much as possible, just gotta hang on a few more weeks...
