@CamTSB and I play this game pretty often on PC. We like it. Personally, I think it's the best CoD since CoD 2, because the movement adds so much to the game. It reminds me of an old school arena shooter, like Unreal Tournament or Quake, which was my first competitive genre of games. The flow of the game is a lot like a more claustrophobic Titanfall, with maybe a bit of The Specialists thrown in there as well.

Confirm, Oreo and I play the calls of duty. I'll go ahead and agree with Oreo, Blops 3 is the best CoD in a long time.

If anyone else plays on PC, feel free to hit us up.

I think Treyarch is best CoD developer and Black Ops 3 proves that in spades. The new movement is exactly what CoD needed to reinvigorate the gameplay. Sledgehammer had the right idea with Advanced Warfare, but the movement there was too jerky and the maps way too vertical for their own good. Black Ops 3 keeps the map design simple with the same two-leveled structures we've seen before in Call of Duty but with way more options for speed and mobility. The map design is ace once again, following Black Ops 2's phenomenal design of vibrant colors and uncluttered areas with clear sight lines. Plus the maps are designed with all of the mobility options in mind, allowing for some pretty cool plays and opportunities. IMO of course, Black Ops 3 is the best in the series. Highly recommended for fans of FPS.

How many people do play Call of Duty on PC? I've only ever rented or borrowed from a friend for the console version of each game.

I've never been a huge fan of CoD. If I have to be completely honest, it's largely attributed to the general sterotype of people who play the game. (The "10 year old who's parents don't care about what their kids do in their free-time" sterotype that I've yet to be proven wrong about)
But I did play Black Ops 2, mostly on account of me getting it for free with my XBOX.

It was very meh. Completely bog-standard First Person Shooter.
The game-play largely consisted of "move Analog Sticks until you scroll over a guy who doesn't have a Green Name appear over his head when you look at him and then hold the trigger buttons" and "run behind a wall when your screen goes red until it goes back to normal".
All the guns of the same category were effectively the same. The prime example was the pistol selection, which consisted of: Pistol, Pistol, Pistol, Old Pistol, Wanabee SMG (That everyone uses because it has the highest DPS), Revolver.
The story, if you could even call it that, was the most generic "Der bei turrizsts ateking deh unit statz nd dey nows how2 HEK THANGZ" plot that you could swap out entirely with 007 Skyfall for a better plot, and any semblance of variety in the "shooting dudes" gameplay was either too short-lived or extended to the point of monotony.
And the multiplayer. Good god the Multiplayer. If we put aside the fact that I'd have to pay Sixty Dollars to use the Internet I'm already paying for, the last thing I want to waste my time in is clicking on the exact same people I click on in Single Player, and then getting headshot from a Sniper across the map (just like in Single Player) and getting called a huge variety of homophobic insults.

The only thing Call of Duty really has going for it is Zombies, and that's only because it's the only thing that can't be won by reading a GameFAQs page for the stats on which gun is the most unbalanced out of the bunch and then using only that gun for the rest of your life.

The way I see it there are dozens of better titles out there for free. Games with more unique weaponry, more varied game-play, actual story, and a community that doesn't primarily consist of players who still need their parent's help when they use the bathroom.

Or I might just be incredibly biased. ;)

Feel free to enjoy the game if you want, but
Team Fortress 2
Counter Strike: Global Offensive
Blacklight: Retribution
Overwatch
The Ship
Killing Floor (2)
BRINK
GunZ 2: The Second Duel
Rising Storm
Red Orchestra 2
Primal Carnage
Are cheaper with better game-play, characters, story, and community.

At least on the PC you don't have to pay to play online.

I'm kinda on a similar opinion, but a much more calmer way. The singleplayer may be fun for one, but in multi I know I suck, I don't enjoy getting slaughtered, and the game gives nothing for its value for me. In and itself this does not make the it inherently bad, and I would even own a copy of it, if it wouldn't be re-released every year with some fancy new texture pack and half as many maps.
As for the little agressive kids who just realized the glory of swear words? They are everywhere, not just CoD. My personal favourite is GTA. You frequently run into kids on a sugar high.

Good start to this.

You are. There's absolutely no need to come into a thread where people are discussing something they enjoy just to tell them why you dislike it and give them options that you feel are better. Especially when one of those has the Mann Co. store attached to it. You were complaining about paying more money for things, right?

I'm going to ask you this as nicely as I can. Would it be possible for you to keep such horrendously negative posts out of the threads where people are enjoying the topic? Coming in so harshly with negativity like this will only get you flamed when people who enjoy something show up, and you're intentionally instigating it by walking into their thread and bashing the game. Don't do that.

uh-oh, time to get dog piled here.

Anyone remember when the CoD hate train began? I seem to remember when MW2 came out people were super excited. Then Black Ops 2 came out I still remember some of the reviews were like "It's like you got 4 games!" Single player, multiplayer, zombie mode, and that top down shooter. Then MW3 came out and suddenly it became cool to hate CoD.

I personally liked MW3. The last CoD game I played BLOPS2 I was indifferent. But I mostly grew tired of FPS as at this time the genre was over saturated. I didn't even play Resistance 3 even though I was a huge fan of 1 and 2.
Of note though is that I barely touched the multiplayer of the CoD games. I just played the Co-Op modes with my bro and my friend. Man I really love those modes. Do they return after BLOPS 2?

But maybe I might give the series a try again just to try that remaster of MW1.

I know it's one week old, but I finally understood why are there so many dislikes on the new CoD trailer. It's bad. Just a really bad reveal if I've seen one... Maaan I still remember the MW2's, that was much better.

The CEO at Activision talked about the wave of dislikes on the Infinite Warfare trailer, and said they aren't too worried about it. He noted the BlOps 2 trailer and how it had a wave of dislikes, but it became "[their] most successful game ever". I myself could possibly get Infinite Warfare, but only if its launch is uncontested. If a game that I like releases on a nearby date, such as Titanfall 2 even though we don't currently know the release date for that game, then I'll pick that one up instead of IW.

And regarding Black Ops 3, I enjoy it a lot too. Plays a lot like Titanfall, which was a game that I adored. I play on the PS4 if anyone asks. Reaper is best specialist.
