This is a thread where we can learn and experiment with bbcode! The general stuff is all there when we make posts, but there's plenty of things besides them you can use.

Like different fonts! Or stricken through text!

Or different fonts with stricken through text!

Which would be done through this:

Code:
[s][font=Palatino Linotype]Or different fonts with stricken through text![/font][/s]
Code:
Also there's code tags! These things create areas of your post that ignore BBcode,
and therefore are good for showing people what tags look like! And they are ironically
the only ones I cannot show off in code because that would break it, but you get the
idea here. One word is in brackets by itself, the next is in brackets with a forward
slash, and the word in this case is "code".
I don't claim to be a master at this but I am pretty experienced with it so if you've got a question I'll try and answer. Beyond that, see what you can do with it here.

Posting several times consecutively is probably less of a problem here, but it's still something you don't wanna get into the habit of. You should really use preview instead, which it's occurred to me that some may not actually know to do that if they always use the regular quick post.

If you hit "More Options" you'll be able to preview stuff to see how it'll look in a post without posting it.

That said you seem to be getting the hang of it!

Do my words look different? I'm on a phone and my words don't look different AT ALL.

REALLY!? I guess it doesn't show different fonts on mobile, shame really. Yeah those last two were Calligrapher and Bazooka, two fonts I like, and can remember the names of.
Hm, I see. That would explain it. Does my sig look like the normal font on mobile as well? 'Cause that's definitely papyrus itself.

Yeah, it looks normal. It looks like you capitalized the first letter of every word and doesn't have anything special to it whatsoever. That being said, I can only assume that you're using a laptop or computer.

Yep, lines are fine, but I can't see different fonts. Shoot! It'd be ccol if I could, but what can you do. Hey Zeel, know any other tricks we could do with code?

Hm, well...

It's also almost certainly possible to do colors beyond those offered.

Code:
[color=#F4F776]Just by using hex codes.[/color]
Just by using hex codes.

I'd say "any hex codes" but I just tested a few of them and that was the first I got to work, so I guess experiment with that.

You can look up where they are by putting "hex color codes" into a search engine. They're all stuff like #F4F776, that's what the above yellow specifically is.

Dude that's cool, but I think the color box option kind of has colored text covered. Also, I think I'll use this font or Bazooka when I write for fun.

Please note that excessive use of non-standard font is considered as a violation of Global forum rule 4, and will be dealt with as such.
Duly noted. Sorry I pretty much spammed any font I could fond, but I never knew how to do cool stuff on the computer(Or phone in my case.) I'll dial it back, but can I still use the occasional word in a different font every once in a while?
